These particular woods are no longer a place of solace or a means of escape. The brutal and tragic effects of Ash dieback leave a decimated landscape and a species uprooted. This is a reflection of the ongoing events in Gaza that make it harder than ever to accept life in a country such as the UK that makes us feel complicit in this brutal and undeniable genocide.
